Explore the cards. Discover what they mean to you.
Ever looked at a Tarot card and wondered what its images were trying to say? Or bought a deck, only to find that 78 cards feel like rather a lot to get your head around?
Tarot is a fascinating world of images, symbols, stories and possibilities. But there's a key to understanding the cards that makes them far less daunting than you might think. You don't need to memorise a book full of meanings, be psychic or know anything about Tarot to begin exploring it.
In this relaxed, hands-on Tarot workshop, we'll discover how the cards fit together and explore how their imagery can spark intuition, challenge familiar ways of thinking and open up fresh perspectives on ourselves and our lives.
Tea & Yummy Cake A Fun Afternoon
A fabulous location Everyone Welcome
A space to explore, discover and have fun
There's no test, no pressure and no right or wrong way to respond to an image. What catches your eye, what you notice and what a card brings to mind can be a starting point for reflection and discovery.
We'll share observations, explore different perspectives and make room for your own ideas and interpretations. You don't have to believe in anything in particular — just bring your curiosity and see where it takes you.
Seeing things differently
Our mindset shapes how we see ourselves, the world around us and the possibilities available to us. Yet it's easy to fall into familiar patterns of thinking without realising it.
Using Tarot as a tool for self-discovery and personal development, we'll explore how looking at an image from a different perspective can spark new ideas, challenge assumptions and help us see things we might otherwise overlook.
It's an opportunity to get curious about your own thoughts, connect with your intuition and consider what else might be possible.

Do I need any previous experience of Tarot?
Not at all! The workshop is suitable for complete beginners, as well as anyone who already owns a deck and would love to understand it better.
Do I need to bring my own Tarot deck?
I would recommend bringing your own deck. The Rider Waite deck is the one we will be working with and the most common. Available on Amazon for as little as £12
Do I need to be psychic or believe in Tarot?
Not in the slightest - I'm not! This is an opportunity to explore the imagery, symbolism and stories of Tarot, discover your own responses and see where your curiosity takes you. No particular beliefs are required.
What if I'm shy to come alone?
Please don't be. I usually find most people come solo. You'll be made very welcome.
Will refreshments be provided?
What's an afternoon without cake?! Homemade cake and cup of tea/coffee
Come and explore the fascinating world of Tarot in a relaxed, welcoming space.
