The TaroCoach Method™ is

The TaroCoach method is a structured coaching methodology that uses Tarot as a visual, reflective tool to support deeper client insight.

It is designed specifically for coaches who want to go beyond surface-level awareness—without losing the integrity and professionalism of their practice.

Rather than interpreting cards or offering answers, the method uses Tarot to facilitate exploration, helping clients access what may be difficult to articulate through conversation alone:

  • Structured and repeatable

  • Grounded in coaching principles

  • Client-led and exploratory

  • Designed to enhance—not replace—the coaching process

This distinction allows coaches to use Tarot with confidence, clarity, and professional integrity.

The TaroCoach Method™ is NOT

  • It is not Tarot reading

  • It does not rely on the practitioner providing answers.

  • It is not predictive or directive

Instead, it is a structured coaching process in which:

the client creates meaning, and the coach facilitates insight.

How it works

The Method follows a clear, structured process:

Reveal → Make patterns visible

Reflect → Explore meaning

Reframe → Move forward with clarity

The TaroCoach Method™
works with a specific part of the Tarot deck - chosen for their relevance to the coaching journey.
Each element provides a simple, structured way to explore different aspects of a client’s experience within a coaching conversation:

Suit Domains

Recognising the primary area of the client’s experience—emotional, cognitive, practical, or motivational.

Developmental Stages (Numbers)

Understanding where the client is within a pattern or process—revealing stages of development or progression.

Roles & Perspectives (Court Cards)

Exploring roles, perspectives, or ways of being that may be influencing the client’s situation.

Reflective Imagery

Using visual symbolism as a reflective tool—supporting the client to describe what stands out and create their own meaning and insight.

Use the TAROCOACH METHOD™ in your PRACTICE

The method is designed to integrate seamlessly into a coaching session—adding depth without disrupting the flow.

You’ll be shown how to apply it alongside established coaching frameworks such as GROW and the Wheel of Life—enhancing reflection without replacing your existing approach.

A typical application might look like this:

  • The coach identifies a point where the client feels stuck, unclear, or repetitive.

  • A Tarot card is drawn from a guided selection of relevant cards, aligned to the coaching focus.

  • The client engages with the imagery and symbolism, describing what they see and what resonates.

  • The coach facilitates exploration using clear prompts and structured guidance from the methodology supporting the client to uncover meaning, patterns, and insight.

  • The conversation then moves into reframing, action, and forward movement—supported by structured prompts within the method.

At every stage, the client remains the source of meaning. The Tarot acts as a catalyst—not an authority.
